About Me
Text Box: My name is Sheri Crawford. I was born in 1963 in Hollywood, California. I stayed pretty close to home moving to the beautiful San Fernando Valley. I have a husband who is a screenwriter and two wonderful children. I also have two dogs and two cats. I often use my children ad my animals as models for my artwork. I went to school for what seems like forever to become an elementary school teacher, but soon realized that art was my true passion. I have always been creating works of art but its only been recently that I have been dedicating myself to art full time. I use all different kind of media: acrylic, oil, gouache (similar to watercolors), pen & ink, even some sculpture. I hope to be able to make a living from my artwork someday. I love to paint animals, that is why I started painting pet portraits, but I also like to paint people so my subject
